We pray that wherever you are and however you say it that you will know and understand the true meaning of Christmas. God has a dream, “Peace on earth, and goodwill
toward all men”, but it happens one person at a time. We can only experience the amount of real peace to the degree that we allow Jesus Christ the “Prince of
Peace” to rule and reign in our own individual lives. The greatest gift that was ever given was when God paid for our sins on the cross. You can receive His peace;
His forgiveness and love right now. Just ask Him…
“Dear God, I know that I need You.
Thank You for your Gift of Love!
I know that I have sinned and am separated from You.
I’m sorry that my sins hurt You.
As best as I know how, I turn from all my sins and I give You control of my life.
Jesus, I welcome You into my life right now.
Please give me a pure heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit.
I truly want to follow You and make my home in heaven.
Lord Jesus, show me Your way.
I want to know You.
I won’t be ashamed of You, Jesus.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

We pray that you have a truly blessed and wonderful Christmas!!!
God Bless You!!

(These are different thoughts that friends have emailed me from around the world.)
Merry Christmas season to all of you!!
Please feel free to invite a friend! (Or a hundred!) And there’s no need to reply to me!
You are cordially invited to A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!
Guest of Honor:
Jesus Christ
Date:
Every day. Traditionally, December 25, but He’s always around, so the date is flexible….
Time:
Whenever you’re ready. (Please don’t be late, though, or you’ll miss out on all the fun! The joy starts NOW!!)
Location:
Your heart…. He’ll meet you there. (You’ll hear Him knock.)
Attire:
Come as you are. He’ll be washing our clothes anyway. He said something about new white robes and crowns for everyone who stays till the last.
Tickets:
Costly, but admission is free. He’s already paid for everyone at the Cross. (He says you wouldn’t have been able to afford it anyway…
it cost Him everything He had. But you do need to accept the ticket!!
Refreshments:
New wine, bread, and a wonderful drink He calls “Living Water,” (To be followed by a supper that promises to be out of this world!)
Gift Suggestions:
Your life. He’s one of those people who already has everything else. (He’s very generous in return though. Just wait until you see what He has for you!)
Entertainment:
Joy, Peace, Truth, Light, Life, Love, & Real Happiness, Communion with God, Forgiveness, Miracles, Healing, Power, Eternity in Paradise, Contentment, and much more!
(All “G” rated, so bring your family and friends.)
R.S.V.P.
Very Important! He must know ahead so He can reserve a spot for you at the table. Also, He’s keeping a list of His friends for future reference. He calls it the
“Lamb’s Book of Life.”
Please reserve your place soon. I pray that I see you there! For those of you who have already made reservations, please share this invitation with everyone! The doors
are open wide! It’s not too late! Remember — the party has no end!
Christmas (1 Corinthians 13 Style) [click to read]
“If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights and shiny balls, but do not show love to my family, I’m just another decorator.“
“If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family, I’m just another cook.”
“If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home and give all that I have to charity, but do not show love to my family, it profits me nothing.”
“If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties and sing in the choirs cantata but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.”
“Love stops the cooking to hug a child.”
“Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the husband or wife.”
“Love is kind, though harried and tired.”
“Love doesn’t envy another’s home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.”
“Love doesn’t yell at the kids to get out of the way.”
“Love doesn’t give only to those who are able to give in return, but rejoices in giving to those who can’t.”
“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.”
“Love never fails.”
“Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, and golf clubs will rust.”
“But giving the gift of love will endure forever.”

light of the world [click to read]
St. Francis of Assisi was one of my heroes. I love this quote from him, “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.”
May we walk into the darkness of this world and shine Jesus’ light of love boldly and without fear!
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” — Matthew 5:16
oh, the wonder!! [click to read]
Have we lost the wonder of God’s love? Have we lost our amazement at the suffering, death & resurrection of Jesus? Have we become so familiar with the story
that our hearts have become calloused? Is it just another story that has to be retold each Sunday in a newer, better, more creative, entertaining way just to keep
our attention?? Has our relationship with Jesus become just another item to check off on our daily “to do list”? Do we get more excited about who wins
the Super Bowl (or when we get a promotion, new car, etc.) than we do when we think about the Creator of the universe longing to walk with us forever? Have we
forgotten the joy of having our sins forgiven and our burdens removed … FOREVER?!! Not for these precious people …
