  Zambia and Zimbabwe Report Dear Family and Friends, Praise the Lord! Greetings from beautiful southern Africa! How are you? How is your summer going? You have to be just about the best group of family and friends around. We are so thankful for you! We are e-mailing this to Jossie, our office manager, and then she's mailing it out to you. When we return, we will give you a full report. First of all, we want to say thank you to those of you who have been praying for Hannah!!! By the grace and mercy of God, though, she is now back at full speed ahead! She is such an incredible blessings to me!! Though only children, she and Josiah have ministered for Jesus around the world. Hannah celebrated her seventh birthday here -- African style, hallelujah! She has been with us on five continents; taken her first steps in another country; some of her first words were in another language; and last year she asked me to baptize her while we were in another country. She was even witnessing to her doctor here, who is a Hindu--what a little lady for God! This trip has been a special blessing! Ministry has been absolutely amazing! The hearts of the people are so open and hungry. We are constantly mobbed for tracts and stickers. Only God truly knows how many have been saved, but literally hundreds are coming for prayer. It's incredible! Since we brought a team, at times some of them have helped me carry the cross. But we have also been able to do some drama in the streets and villages; we have even helped build (dig, thatch, cut down the trees, etc.) some churches in the villages out in the bush. The picture that sticks in my mind for this trip, and for all of Africa, is the smiles--especially the smiles of children! Every day there are mobs of children running out to greet the cross and then following us, singing, laughing, and clapping as we leave. As I walk, I am serenaded by a chorus of children singing, blended with the beautiful sounds of God's creation--crickets, birds, and various animals--all creating an orchestra of praise unsurpassed in the world's finest cathedrals. God's glory and love have been in this place. If God would let me, I think I could just take up residence here and minister to these wonderful people for the rest of my life. Yet the call of God causes us to move on and take the cross into the roadsides of the world. Again, you have to be some of the most wonderful family and friends in the world! You pray for us, encourage us, and help send us with the needed finances as we go into the world with the cross and message of Jesus . We want you to know, though, that it's not just us -- you are here with us as we walk along these roadsides and into these villages. We want you to know what an important part you are in reaching these precious people with the beautiful message of Jesus! Please continue to pray for Hannah. Also pray for me as I take the cross to Hong Kong and China for the political changeover. God
