Thank you, thank you for praying while we carried the cross there! It was truly a beautiful and glorious trip!! What an honor and privilege that God invites us to be a small part of what He is doing throughout the earth!! It’s great to be home with family! I look forward to speaking tomorrow (9th of June) at Trinity Church in Hot Springs, AR! I’m going to miss the wind in my face, the weight of the cross on my shoulder and having to depend on God to communicate His wonderful message in another language! I’ve posted some pictures you can view if you click HERE. We shot this video along the way. I hope you enjoy it!!!

I don’t usually see a lot of miracles,DSC03012 but from the moment I put the cross together on this trip we began seeing miracles. One precious lady asked for prayer for her very sick daughter (2 miles away!). When she returned to her village, her daughter was healed! Word spread throughout the village and soon, many, many started to come to the cross for prayer. Jesus healed them ALL! I’m amazed and humbled!! Jesus words are SO very true; “Apart from Me you can do nothing!”

So often, people ask me, “How can I get closer to Jesus?” It’s not a matter of getting Him to come where we are – it’s about going where HE is! It’s not about Him responding to our invitations; it’s about us responding to HIS invitation! He’s with the broken; the forgotten; the left behind; the lonely; the unlovely; the hurting; the poor; the widows & orphans; the hungry & homeless; the lost & unreached! I sense His presence on the roadsides in Indonesia! So many who have NEVER EVER heard His story!! Let’s get closer to Jesus! Let’s follow Him to the places He leads us!

Thank you for praying! Jesus is doing wonderful things in Indonesia!!

If we draw near enough to Jesus, we lean our head on His chest and we can hear His heartbeat. I think I’ve heard His heartbeat! However, I don’t think it goes, “ka-thump, ka-thump”; I believe it goes, “People! People!” … and I believe it’s breaking!!  (See John 13:23).  As I’ve walked the roadsides of this nation and spoken face to face with so many precious, precious people, Jesus’ heartbeat has only echoed louder in my soul!! His heart is breaking! While many understand that the cross is a “Christian symbol”, most have NO IDEA what it means! Some have heard that Jesus died for their sins, but I would say probably 90% of those that I have spoken with have NEVER EVER, EVER HEARD that Jesus rose again and is alive!!! YES! Jesus’ heart is breaking!

What a privilege! What an honor to have been able to carry the cross here in Cambodia!  Thank you, thank you for praying! From the first moments in the airport back in Oklahoma until today, God has been pouring out His beauty and His glory! Many people have given their lives to the One who laid down His life for them! The cross has been welcomed and celebrated along the way in this beautiful country!!

God willing, I leave in the morning for home, but I leave part of my heart here!! I will try to write a report of our time here after I’m home a few days.

Maybe a good test for our true love for Jesus is to think of the person who has hurt us the most, or the one we love the least … “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’” Matthew 25:34

“…for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” 1 Jn 4:20

A group of children were overheard talking about their definition of love. Six year old, “Nikka”, said, “If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend you hate.”

Jesus said, ”43You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you … 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?” Matthew 5:43-48

Subtle … but important! John said, “HE must increase and I must decrease.” Not, “I must decrease and He must increase.” As we long as we focus on decreasing we are focused on our self, not Jesus! When we focus on Jesus He increases and we naturally decrease because there is no longer any room for us!
